Up for sale is a 2003 Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI serial number ICS13193XXX. The instrument is in excellent condition and has all of the necessary modifications required to make this instrument playable. If you’ve been looking at one of these, you may be put off by the seemingly mandatory upgrades required to turn this into a professional instrument. Here is your chance to purchase the whole package. Modifications prior to ownership include:
- Staytrem bridge with inserts installed
- Axemasters slotted bone nut
- Neagle 3-play mint pickguard (original tort included)
- Upgraded pots, wiring harness and skirted knobs
- Neck pocket has all parts shim installed.
Weight on my bathroom scale is 9.2 lbs. The action on the bass is quite low and its s currently strung with LaBella flats. Also included are the original strings, tool set, and trim arm. Bass will ship in a genuine Fender G&G hardshell case.
