For sale 2006 Gibson Thunderbird Studio New Clear PICS

I have for sale a 2006 Gibson Thunderbird Studio Edition.

I have had this bass for about a year and a half. I got into four strings for a while (mainly a five string player) but I have been neglecting all my four strings for my fives lately so I'm selling them.

The studio version of the Thunderbird is a little different than the normal model. It has a slimmer body (not as heavy), a set neck instead of neck through, and a different bridge. I believe those are the only differences. If anyone knows better, please chime in.

When I first purchased this bass, I had it professionally set up. This bass plays amazing. It has nice, low action and no buzz. It has a few dings on the body and there is some buckle rash. Its a players bass but it plays extremely well. The electronics are the same as a standard Thunderbird. It sounds darn good. It will not disappoint.

The price is 700 shipped to your door. Feel free to ask any questions you can think of. I may also take some better pictures in the sunlight. It comes with the hardcase pictured. The case is kind of beat up on the outside, but its hard to tell from the pic.
