SOLD 2007 Lakland Joe Osborn J-Sonic

This US Joe Osborn J-sonic has one of the best necks I’ve had the pleasure of playing or owning. The 1.5” jazz on this is so fast & smooth it can be played effortlessly for hours on end.

The blocks are gorgeous (these pictures don’t do them justice at all) and really pop on the nicely figured dark unbound rosewood fingerboard.

These Chi-Sonic single coil pickups are very cool pickups that sound great, they pair nicely with the ’62 concentric jazz plate. I really like the ability to adjust the tone/volume for each pickup as needed.

I’m unsure of the name of this green, but whatever it is Pat Wilkins did his magic & its killer! There’s a small ding on the face of the upper bout (see picture) that was not disclosed to me when I bought this bass back, so just for full disclosure.

It does tip the scale a little at 9lbs 12 oz, but’s very comfortable with a 3” strap or sitting down of course.
