This is a Made in Korea 2010 Warwick Pro Series Corvette Std. It is not a RockBass. 2010 was the first year the production was moved from Germany to S. Korea. Ed Friedland once said there was no discernable difference quality wise between MIG and MIK.
I am only the 2nd owner. The original owner said he bought it brand new in 2011 for use as an exclusive studio bass. He assured me this has not been gigged. He sold it to me because he is moving out of the country and can’t bring any of his studio gear with him. Currently strung with Dean Markleys 45-105.
This is a great great bass, it is however heavy. I don’t have a scale with me but I can assure you this is more than 10 lbs. Probably even 11 or 12. It sustains for days though. This is my first Warwick and I gotta say I don’t dig the ergonomics so I’m putting it up for sale or for trade (see below for trades).
Price includes CONUS shipping via FedEx Ground. I’m local to Klamath Falls, OR on the weekdays and Sacramento, CA on the weekends.
For trades i’m mainly looking for a 5-string of more or less the same value, though I can add cash as needed. I’m not looking for 4-stringed basses EXCEPT if it’s a Roadworn or Highway One P or J. Lastly, I can also trade for a 112 combo amp (or head+cab) of more or less the same value.
