Details

Beautiful, easy player, and surprisingly light-weight. All original, except WD tortoise pickguard, as shown.

Fender model #0194072721, Natural ash, maple board.

$1100 includes shipping to CONUS only. Must use PayPal.

I purchased this bass new in June, 2014. It was an in-store demo unit, at an authorized Fender dealer in New York. It has about 25-30 hours total playing time since I bought it. Still has factory original Fender USA Bass 7250M strings.

Excellent condition. (Really, I would say "near mint," but my standard for that is pretty much immaculate, with barely visible swirls on the pickguard, at most.)

There are three tiny dings on the bottom front edge of the headstock (last photo below). The back of the body has some very slight scratches, just below the relief cut (damn Levi jeans rivets!). They are barely visible in bright light at the right angle, and so faint that I couldn't capture in photos. Otherwise, there are no scratches, chips, or dings anywhere on the body, hardware, and neck. There is no visible fret wear. All controls and electronics (active and passive) work properly.

Weight is 8.25 lbs (3.745 kg) on an accurate digital scale. This is the lightest Fender P I've ever owned!

This sale includes the bass, OHSC (SKB flight case) with both keys, all case candy and hang tags, and both WD tortoise and the original factory B/W/B pickguard.

This is an awesome instrument, top-line Fender USA quality. The neck profile is just right (IMO), not too thick or too thin, very close to the current American Standard.

This was my first PJ bass, and I have enjoyed playing it, but now that I have my AVHR Frankenbass set up, I just don't play this one, so it sits in the corner of the studio, lonely in its case, and pining for some action. It's time to let it go....

I have the same bass in black, same maple fretboard. I sold it once, tried 3 other basses, and bought the exact same one again. If you dance between Jazz and P basses, this thing is the most amazing and versatile bass in that p/j universe. My absolute favorite Fender bass Ive ever had(out of the 7 or so) and probably favorite bass Ive owned in general(ive had a dozen or so). Buyer will guaranteed be verrrry happy.

Yeah, this is a really sweet instrument, with very little play time on it. It is my favorite MIA Fender P neck, except for the Am Special slim-C neck (which I now have on my AVHR P-bass).

The reason it's up for sale now is I've grown a little too "bass heavy" over the last year, with 6 MIA Fenders in the stable.

Probably not... my GAS is mostly quelled at the moment.

However, I'd really have to agonize about an AVRI '75 Jazz, in natural ash with maple board, if it was offered.

This is a killer bass at a killer price.

Don't make me take it off the market, and start modding the pups and electronic stuff.
