2017 Upton Standard Excellent

Killer Bass! She has a very clean and lightly played set of Helicore Hybrid mediums on and sounds great. I really dig this bass but unfortunately I have had some ergonomic issues and I really need baseball bat sized necks these days. I have tried to make it work because she's so cool and I have gigged her a few times. She gets lots of admiring compliments! I'm the 2nd owner and the original owner basically never played her. The set up is damn near perfect. Ebony board, Carbon fiber endpin, 41.5 inch string length and a 'D' neck. According to the new basses appearing on the Talk Bass Upton Club, the current lead time on a new Upton is 12 months. I'm including a very nice Bobelock padded case and I'm in downtown Asheville NC...come buy a great bass and stay a while!
