Here we have an excellent Bass from one of the first batches of the new Stingray Specials. These basses are every bit as good as you've heard! The roasted maple neck plays amazing, it's not beefy at all and very comfortable. The re-voiced preamp and pickup sound growly and powerful. Body is lightweight at 8lbs 11oz. Overall the bass is in excellent shape except for some bucklerash on the back and smudging on the front (damn bracelet!), which I pictured. It can probably be buffed out by someone who knows what they're doing. The price reflects these small cosmetic issues. If you're OK with a little player wear, this is a steal!
