This 31" scale Birdsong is one of the nicest I have had the pleasure of playing. It has a walnut body with an ebony center stringer and a matching walnut headstock cap. With its rear routing for the passive electronics it has a very "clean" look and the wooden knobs go well with the body. The adjustable bridge is a Hipshot Type A and the tuners are Gotoh Res-o-lite. This bass is in excellent condition – 9.5 out of 10. It loses the .5 because there is a slight blemish in the fretboard (between G and D strings on the 20th fret) that does not affect the playing. Like all Birdsongs the huge tone from this bass is amazing. Overall, the 31" scale and light weight make this a very comfortable bass to play. Note: The Face dots are decals that I added. They are easily removed and leave no residue. If you don't want them – I will remove them for you.
