Bummer but I gotta part with my 71-73 musicmaster, I’m pretty sure it’s an original Dakota red spray job on there, all the checking looks right. It’s a player so there’s a lotta songs on it but it’s all original which is hard to find on these basses. Since it bums me out to be selling this I’d prefer to do a local sale but can figure out shipment if it’s to a real musicmaster head, and my only condition is that the person who buys this wonderful bass does not do some freaky deaky mods where they try to makeIt into a cheaper mustang! The pickups on it sound better the way they are than any aftermarket thing would lol.
so for sale to someone who would like to play a musicmaster stock, who can look at that six pole piece pickup and be like, I see you buddy and you actually produce a thick warm tone that is the best fender has to offer bass wise.
