This has been a great amp for me. One that I really never planned on selling but I have too many amps and something has to go. The great thing about the series II is you can completly bypass the internal speaker. If you have a bigger cab you would rather push you can disconnect the internal speaker and not waste wattage on the 4 ohm internal speaker. This amp will go to 2 ohms. It is awesome with upright and IMO electric bass too. I often would take the combo on electric gigs and plug it up to a Ampeg 15 or two. Also great when your too lazy to bring your upright to practices with acoustic players. This amp as a combo is not in your face at all. You will not offend those die hard acoustic players that cringe when you show up with an electric bass.
