This is the most light weight/ergonomic Alembic model made IMO (in this case 9-9.5 lbs on my home
Scale) and built with the most features shared by their more expensive offerings. This model is also a 34” scale length.
Here are the basic features:
-mahogany back, highly figured flamed maple top
-maple neck through construction w/ ebony fingerboard, maple headstock facing, brass side dots, reinforced headstock volute, 1.7 “ nut width
-two active Alembic AXY pickups with Master Volume, Pickup Blend and famous Alembic Filter!
-brass Alembic classic bridge/tailpiece and adjustable nut. All gold/brass hardware.
The bass is in almost mint condition except for two little marks on the side of the headstock, which are difficult to photograph and not visible from the front.
(If somebody is super interested, I’m happy to try and take pictures to better capture the two dings.)
