It's painful to sell this one. I'm primarily a 5-string player, and I only have space to store two basses at my current residence. This is an amazingly beautiful instrument, in both looks and tone, but I struggle to find enough time to play even my main instruments nowadays. If you ordered this bass brand new from Alembic, it would be $13,850. I put new strings on it, but I haven't played it for more than several hours. The Europa control scheme would be great for live shows, they are easy to adjust on the fly. Very user-friendly, for an Alembic.

I have found no noticeable dings or deep scratches. It's very close to mint condition. Under bright light and close inspection, the brass bridge has a slight patina (I have seen other well maintained Alembics with brass like this, so I think it's normal). Never gigged, at least by me. It has been stored in a smoke-free and climate controlled recording studio. Some pictures are from the original seller. This is a powerful tool that should go to someone who has time to play and utilize it.

Buyer's address must be confirmed on PayPal. Special price for local pickup if you're near Southern NH/North MA.

Thank you for reading.

No trades. Sorry. :)

Nut width and weight?
I don't have calipers, but it looked like 1.625 when I measured, which Alembic lists on their website.

Commercial scale says 10lb 1oz with strings and all batteries installed (It can be used without the batteries for the LEDs, for slightly less weight).

I have emailed you via private message, but had no response. Is the bass still for sale?

There is evidently some confusion, from PMs I have received:

Yes, this bass is still available. If it sells, I will immediately update the thread to reflect that.

Private message is the best and quickest way to reach me.

Thank you.

To be honest, I'm very suprised to see it's still there. A classic, world-class instrument. Maybe it doesn't sell 'cause it requires a tie to be played.
