For sale Beautiful Skjold offset 5 string 35”/ 24 fret

5 string 35 inch, 24 fret (not including the zero fret) bass. It has an Ash body with a beautiful exhibition grade Crotch Walnut top and a quarter sawn Maple neck with a Morado fingerboard. I added these awesome custom knobs ($150!) that are also ash with walnut tops. Original Skjold SC-1 pickups (made for Pet by Dingwall) but with a Pope preamp inside. Sounds and plays excellent. According to Pete Skjold, he had it in a few years ago to upgrade the neck. So, the bass is a 2010 and the neck is 2018. I’m selling because as much as I’ve tried, I’m more comfortable on a 34”. Not very heavy at all with a nice balance. It’s 8.4 lbs according to the bathroom scale. I’m not strapped to sell so, please don’t lowball me.
