Up for sale is a set of Benson Custom jazz bass pickups. I love these so much I have Benson P-bass and Jazz PUs in 4 basses. Cleverer wordsmiths than me have written about this builder's work.

Excellent passive pickups for Jazz, Funk and Blues style.
Warm round tone with a great snap that cuts though a mix easily.
The Neck pickup is built with flat Alnico 5 magnets which can deliver a versatile tone for many styles. The measurement is 8.7K, wound TLTG.
The Bridge pickup is built with flat Alnico 3 magnets which can deliver a classic vintage Jazz tone. Measures 9.25K and wound RWRP for hum cancelling when paired with the neck pickup.
Medium scatter wound with 42 awg heavy Formvar wire brings out warmth. Lead wires are vintage push back wire, so no stripping is needed.
I've used these for rock, heavy rock, harder rock, medium hard rock etc. I find that vintage sounding pickups make an excellent base to add various overdrives on top of if that's what you're going after. These things cut through a mix.
They sound amazing when pushed by an Audere pre, which I'm doing on 2 basses.
