Hi there! Selling my MT500 as I’ve got 4 amp heads and really only need one.
I don’t play the “only gigged once” game when selling gear. I gigged with this head every weekend for about a year. During that summer, it was put to the test playing long gigs in high heat outdoors. It never quit. It doesn’t get very warm either.
On a personal note, this was huge for me because I joined a party/wedding band and immediately started having amp issues at gigs. I went through two heads by other brands that were shutting down for over heating. They needed extra compound on the heat sink, is what my repair person told me. No games with this Microtubes 500. Super lightweight, two Darkglass drive circuits, and no heat issues.
Works like new, very little cosmetic signs of use.
