I have two matching pairs of these pickups for sale. These normally sell for twice what I'm asking. I've had them roughly a year and they all work and sound great. These are also the three wire version, which is a semi-custom order.
Tone is subjective, but if I were to try and describe their sound it would be focused: They aren't hifi pickups per sae because they seem to not have much energy above 4-5khz, but they sound pretty even from treble to mids to lows which imo makes it easily to manipulate them via eq.
