This one has spent its life in my smoke-free practice room. It works perfectly. There are couple of scratches on the case, mostly as the result of rack screws and sliding it in an out of the rack. Also, the rack ears are very slightly bent as the result of an overly-aggressive rack mounting. They are still perfectly functional, and it's not noticeable when the unit is mounted in a rack.
So, for half of what this would cost new you can have one that sounds brand-new. Super quiet and musically warm while still being pretty transparent. Works equally well in a studio or live.
