Selling my DeTemple P-55 bass - built by Mike DeTemple in 2023 (he’s back to a one-man operation). It has a super nicely flamed neck, the two single coils, titanium block etc. - I've wanted to get the same specs like the one Lee Sklar uses:
I’ve ordered it in 2019 and got it after 4 years of waiting. 3,5 kg (around 7.8 lbs), super light and resonant, rings like a bell with beautiful harmonics. Only played at home, basically brand new.
According to Mike, this was from the final batch of P-55 basses he built, and the last one with a maple neck.
Economy forced me to let go this prized possession (after price increases with DeTemple, it ended up costing me 10k+ with shipping and customs) - hopefully it finds a great loving home! Comes with the original case.
