    Price:
    2800
    Strings:
    5
    Location:
    North Carolina
I’m now accepting trade offers for my Devon Gen5 bass.

It’s a 2019 model, and is in like new condition… no blemishes, scratches, dents, swirls, etc.

As far as trades go... I’m pretty flexible on different bass make/models…whatever catches my eye/ear. I’m willing to trade for a lower-end model with cash, but will also trade for the right high-end model plus cash on my end.

*these are some trade preferences… not written in stone.

    - 5-string or 6-string
    - 18mm or greater string spacing
    - 24 frets
    - Non-maple fingerboard
    - Active electronics
    - Something in a similar trade value of $2500 – 3500 (+/-… somewhat flexible)
    - Newer…within the last 10 years (unless a higher-end brand/model)
    - No Fenders (already have some)
    - Preferred bass brands: MTD, Roscoe, Skjold, Modulus, Zon, Yamaha TRB series, etc…

Let me know what you have… I’ll respond to all inquiries.

    Specs

    Body: Chambered Ash
    Top: Grain Enhanced Ash
    Neck: 3-piece roasted-maple

Pickups: Nordstrand DC5s with coil-tap switches
Preamp: Nordstrand 3b, 18-volt, 3-band with master volume (active/passive), tone, blend, treble and mid (push/pull) and bass
Hardware Color: Black with gold accents

    Tuners: Hipshot Lollipop
Finish: Tobacco Burst, clear gloss on body and headplate/satin on neck
    Cover: Magnetically-fastened electronics covers

I have an older one myself from back when his basses looked nothing like Fenders in shape. It is a cool bass, but not nearly as nice as this one. It looks like he has sure upped his skills as of late!!!

One of the great special features of a Devon bass is the magnetic control cavity covers (and battery cover, if active). The aesthetics and easy of access are both very beautiful and also convenient.

I've also found Devon's attention to detail to be exceptional... especially at the price range of his basses. One of the these features would be his shielding (both paint and tape) and the sheer "cleanliness" of his control cavity.

Another innovative feature that Devon uses on his Gen5 basses is the redesigned input jack.

The following video explains and demonstrates the use of this input jack design.
