I have a set of dimarzio model j jazz pickup set with the control plate that makes for an easy no solder installation. They are in perfect working order, i’ve had them in my gigging bass for about a year now so they are not pristine looking but absolutely no issues. They sound great, I was just a victim of gas and wanted to try something new.
