First is a really nice Drake custom bass, this one is named Marilyn. Swamp ash body with a wenge center block and a clear satin finish. The neck is 34" scale, solid wenge with a wenge fingerboard and bloodwood binding, and Jazz width at the nut (1.5" wide). Electronics are Bartolini humcancelling Jazz pickups with volume, blend pot, and a stacked treble/bass active tone control. All hardware is Hipshot, the bass weighs 8.4 lbs. Overall condition is very good, frets have very light wear only, the body has some very minor dings and a few areas that the satin finish has become more glossy due to playing. Beautiful bass made from top-notch materials. Includes a gigbag.

Price is $950 $925 $900 shipped SOLD

Second is a new condition Music Man Bongo bass. This is from the most recent PDN limited issue and it's the best Bongo I've ever had. Mahogany body with a lovely Neptune Blue transparent finish, the neck is roasted maple with heavy birdseye figure and a great feeling oil finish. The fingerboard is Indian rosewood and the frets are stainless steel. Weight is very light at 8.3 lbs. Something about this bass makes it sound terrific, I assume it's the different woods but who knows. Condition is mint, comes in the Music Man molded hardcase.

Price is $1400 shipped SOLD

Last is a 1990 Rickenbacker 4003. This is a great player's bass, not a collector piece. I bought it off TB because I like the late 70s through early 90s Ricks and this one looked great in the pics. The neck hasn't separated anywhere along the edge of the fingerboard, the neck is straight, the bass is fairly light at 9.6 lbs, and it sounds and feels great for a Rick. It came to me with a dead bridge pickup, I put a factory alnico Rick pickup in. The pickup is essentially a horseshoe bridge pickup but without the shoes. The original bridge pickup will be included, so will the bridge pickup cover. The condition is completely solid functionally but it's definitely been played. The Jetglo finish is gently checking all over and there are some very small spots near the bridge and on the headstock where some finish has chipped off. The clearcoat over the binding has yellowed noticeably, there are some tiny chips in the clearcoat over the binding in several places around the body. The neck has some very small areas where the Jetglo finish is worn through and there's an area on the back of the neck around the 10th-12th frets where it feels dinged up but nothing that gets in the way of playing at all. Frets have some wear but they have plenty of meat left, it's wearing flats now. Comes in a clean but cheap gigbag.

Price is $1200 shipped SOLD

I have the same body style Drake Custom (different woods/pickups), that is a great price for an insanely well made instrument.

Bump for a great TBer, I own one of his old basses. Firsthand, lemme tell ya - the L1005 is absolutely killer. If you're in the market for a SCPB or P with five strings, you would be wise to take a serious look at bdgotoh's L1005.

I wish I was back home in Portland, I've love to come by and test-drive that drake.

Now you decide to move a 5-string and it's not a Lull? Can a brother catch a break?

Hope you are well. Already have a 1505 or I'd seriously consider going gold...
