Bought this bass a year ago for a gig up in Delaware from Talk bass, I had to replace the input jack (ground noise) and have it set up (dead fret E and A strings at 13/14) after purchase. Scale length is 30.5", but because of this type of bridge you need a medium or long scale string. These DR's are a medium scale; from the ball end of the string to the nut is 33". This bass in way better shape now with DR Black Beauties, handmade BLK-45 Strings 45 to 105 gauge with K3 coating just installed with fresh set up. With inflation and new strings/ set up; its a great deal at $500.00 and NOW FREE SHIPPING!
