I just got these on Tuesday and while I think they sound great, I am so used to the tension of TIs that I'd like to get a lighter gauge.
In the interest of full-disclosure, I originally thought that the A string sounded a little duller than the rest of the set, but I think that was just a pre-conceived notion based on what some other people had posted elsewhere. After further playing I don't hear a difference.
These were strung on a 4-in-line P bass through body.
