I bought this, my first EBMM new this past January. I love it and it's easier on my hands than my old main - 2000 Warwick Thumb BO, but I think I'm going to be moving to short scale.

The sounds and the fit and finish are great so I'd love to stick with Ernie Ball. I've never played a short scale bass, but it seems like a logical compromise for comfort.

If there's anyone who's in the opposite situation with a Stingray short scale, hope to hear from you.
