Here's a 2015 EMG JVX bridge pickup -LJ version that I removed from my beat up Jazz bass and installed an actual beat up early 90s LJ in. Since the bass was beat, I did some scuffing and corner rounding to make the pickup look more a part of the bass. Other than that, the sound of it is Pure Gold! I have JVXs in 2 of my Jazz basses. Since they have good grit and girth, I am keeping the SJ in the bass. The VLPF, Active Tone control adds some extra zing. I have used JVXs in combination with the standard EMG J and JX models. You will have to adjust the pickup height to compensate for the JVX being louder.
The JVXs need the VLPF or an active (EMG compatible) preamp, I am including a VLPF and extra junction wire to go from the VLPF to the battery buss. Also the 3 pin Pickup connection wire and some other wiring, busses and instructions sheets will also be included.
