Epiphone Toby Deluxe IV Wiring?

I took the electronics out of my bass recently to put into a new body, and I reconnected everything as it was before (at least I think), but no dice - I cannot get it to work at all. Just some static when plugged into an amp. I'm considering removing all the wiring and just starting from scratch with the components, but I can't find a wiring diagram specific to this model, or anything similar to it.

Inside, there is a 9V battery, so I know these are active pickups. There are two regular old potentiometers, what I think is a 3-way selector switch but looks like a potentiometer with a knob, and another knob attached to a circuit board. I think the circuit board is the Tonexpressor™ (look at the link), some sort of proprietary tone controller. So none of the wiring diagrams I've looked online are helpful.

Can someone either a) provide me with a wiring diagram, b) take some good pictures of the electronics if you have this model, or c) point me in the right direction of what to do?

I'm even considering switching to passive electronics if that's somehow possible with the existing pickups. Thanks in advance.

Hey I made an account just to try and help you.
I'm having a similar problem only I needed a wiring diagram before I took mine apart. So I made one! It's nothing special (MS paint... eww) but should help you and me both. I should note that the wiring dia is not great for the jack connection. So use the photographs.

The Bass boost knob (as you call the "Proprietary tone controller") you are able to bypass it completely but I don't know how. I do how ever have another wiring Dia' that I found which looks incredibly similar to what your asking. But don't take my word as gospel this is my first time trying anything like this (See attached "jazz-bass-with-master-volume-and-balance-blend-control")

The pickup selector is a Balance Blend Pot from what I can make out and I the most complicated part of this wiring.

As for your sound issues.
- Make sure everything is grounded.

- Make sure that none of the solder is overlapping other soldered points this will cause what I think is a short circuit thus giving no sound.
^(This is most likely as I plan on heating the solder up to take the wires off to get the pickups out. And I imagine you had done the same to save cutting the cable too short.)

- Also The Toby bass Doesn't come with any shielding what so ever from what I can tell. So your single coil pickups are much more susceptible to radio interference. Watch this if your interested
The problem I see with doing this is joining the cavities electrically especially when the cable holes between them are tiny. So it may take a while or I plan on just tin foiling the Pickup cavity and then using a shielded braided cable to run through it.
^ That's probably a bit far but I included it so other could benefit.

Other than that, here's a bunch of reference photographs of my instrument before I go taking it apart.
I hope it's not too late because your post is old and I hope this still helps someone out there as I found this dead thread from as a top result google search.
Anyways I would love to hear from anyone on this.

EDIT 1: Here's a video.
