For sale F. Barbe labeled French upright double bass

I have a flatback 19th century french bass for sale. Very sloped shoulders. It's labeled F. Barbe. This was originally a three string bass that was converted many years ago to a four string. Bass has the original large back center brace. I just had a new bassbar intalled by Sal Giardina in New Orleans and bass has good sustain, Spiro core strings on it. He also put a new fingerboard and a Aubert de-luxe bridge, those are great bridges. I live 20 miles west of New Orleans in case you want to try it out. $25K obo call 504-559-2384
