This is at George's on consignment and would ship from Hamilton, Ontario?

No, the bass is here with me and will ship from Missouri. This bass is listed as "Sold" on the FBASS site and I am the original/only owner. Used the link above out of convenience for pics and specs.

Thanks

Have a "few" basses, just not playing this one much these days. One has to thin the herd every now and then. It is an effortless playing and wonderful sounding instrument...if it doesn't sell, I will have no problem keeping it ;)

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I might be interested in helping you thin your herd, but I am in the same boat! :)
I'm trying to figure out what I can get rid of to make room in the stable!

Yummm! These are soooo sweet. I only sold mine because I really need fretlines. Whomever ends up with this bass is going to be hooked.

If you have not heard the AC-6 in the jam on this video, it is a must. Very sweet!

GLWTS!

I have a question regarding the fixed bridge saddles. Considering that the intonation can't be adjusted, how well does the bass play in tune? (i.e. how well does the note fretted at the 12th position correspond to the harmonic node at that position?)

This is my second go around with the AC model and the bass' ability to play and stay in tune as a result of it's bridge has never been an issue. I can't explain the why and or physics/angle behind the bridge or saddles, but...if I am hearing "sharp" or "flat", it was attributed to my own technique/ability to play in tune...or lack thereof on that occasion, not the bass

Thanks

So, I figured out who the guy is in the video posted by Neuroman:

Jeff Plant (look him up on Google)

I gotta stop watching YouTube, every time I see a cat like this it make me want to quit!
