*My ad kept getting buried 3-4 pages back after searching "dingwall", so I felt it was not getting seen. Thanks.

Looking for a possible sale or trade on my Dingwall Super PZ5. I’ve had it for a couple of years and it's been my go-to axe. The bass is in great condition and plays easy, as it was nearly new when I bought it. If you’re familiar with these axes, you know the deal. Weight is 8 lbs. I’ve tried to capture this on the photos, but the dots on the fretboard and the “D” on the headstock are a black pearl type of material. It’s purely aesthetic and not sure exactly what it’s called, but it looks cool. I also tried to document the minor scratches on the pickguard from regular use. Will ship with original Dingwall gig bag.

If sold, buyer pays $50 for shipping in addition to sale price of bass. Would prefer to keep this CONUS. Will consider Canada, but shipping will need to be discussed.

Possible trade interests: Dingwall PJ 4, Modulus BassStar PJ 4, Sadowsky 4, ...others ??

Pay no mind to the P-bass w/ the white pickguard....that's not going ANYWHERE!!:D

The ash/maple works great on these - mine (going nowhere!) is the same combination. I don't know the composition, but the "D" is black pearloid, I believe. GLWTS!

I think that's the right move. Of the 3 DWs I've owned, I liked the SP5 the best. As a lifelong Jazz Bass guy, though, I missed the bridge pup. Should have had one installed rather than sell it.

BTW, I think Sheldon has Carey Nordstrand do his work in the USA now. Next SP5 that comes up with a rosewood board will get my attention, and if doesn't have a J I will solve that problem!

Ironically, had this one sold to me, I might've been listing my SP5 with a rosewood board in just a few days! BTW, I owned an SPJ5 that was originally an SP5 that Nordstrand added the J pup to and it was impeccable work. Could not tell it wasn't originally an SPJ5 except for the spacing of the knobs on the PG.

Very cool. I haven't seen a natural in this type of finish - NICE. :) If it were me, I would hold out for someone wanting to trade a Super J for sure (you can always do the P conversion yourself if you can't find someone willing to trade their SJ/P)...
