First, I'm not sure if this is against policy to post a feeler here so mods just remove if it's non-compliant. Apologies in advance if that's the case.
I'm waiting on shipment for my new custom head and I'm looking to sell my Fender Super Bassman once I've received the new one. It's supposed to ship March 17 for an estimated timeframe. Throwing this feeler out to see if there's any interest on TB or if I should go the craigslist route which I'd rather not do.
I've swapped a few pre tubes with other tubes that I felt were better sounding but I still have the originals in full working order... take your pick. Factory power tubes are still in it and I've had no issue with them... the autobias reports all green status. My order history shows I bought it new in July 2013, but I had to send a few back for replacement over the course of a few months due to DOAs and various other issues with the amps they sent me. This one showed up in perfect working order. I'm guessing around September 2013 timeframe give or take a few weeks. I estimate there's 200 hours on the amp/tubes but that's totally ballpark.
Cosmetically, there are a few (5 tops) minor dings on it but that's it. I put serious effort into taking care of my gear. It's been locally gigged 10 times or so in non-smoking bars/venues and my house is smoke free. The amp has never failed or given any indication that there's anything faulty in the amp. Original foot switch included... I never used it other than testing it out when I got the amp. I think it came with a 1/4" speaker cable too... I'll throw that in if desired.
Any interest if I post this at around $1400? I'm happy to ship (well packaged of course) but buyer will incur shipping cost. I have a 15% discount on Fedex and ground ship estimate looks to be around $70 to the east coast. Only $460 for next day air!
