I am ready to upgrade to a carved 5-er, and I would like to know if there is any interest in my bass. Mike Shank of Shank's Strings identifies this as a Korean made bass. The top is "solid" wood (not ply), but it is "formed" rather than carved. It is about 15 years old. Despite the potential problems with formed top basses, the top appears to be stable. Mike has planed and dressed the ebonized fingerboard, and made the adjustable bridge from premium stock. It has a new end-pin. This is a ready to play, and professionally set-up. It is a good bass for jazz or other pizz use, and plays well under bow. I have had Spiro Hybrids and Zyex on her (I have called her Stella), and both sound good. I have preferred the Zyex.
I mostly play in theatre pit orchestras, so this is smoke and bar smell free. See links to pictures. I will include your choice of German or French bow. Comes with a gig bag. Quiver and mute not included. I am in the Philadelphia area.
