For sale Fender 1971/ 72 Precision bass

Serial number on neck plate looks like 300545
70-71 is prob about right
Although some 300000 were used in 69,70,72,73 possibly according to the fender dating chart
At any rate it is a fine and collectible p bass. Even with the additional pickup which is a fine addition for a player instrument. I like it I have a 70 or 71 myself with a P J set up. I would never sell it. I play it all the time the J adds a lot to the P sound. It may be worth more if it was in original P only configuration but it is still worth a lot.

i will get the exact weight but is light, i will get the measurement on the neck tomorrow, no dings or dents on the neck, it looks like it was sprayed over or at least touch up at some point.

where in Boston and what would a local price be right now?
