Fender Boxer series P/J, 2020 model, Torino Red. I got this recently from a cool TB'r:
SOLD - Fender Boxer Series P/J **PRICE DROP
Great bass! The color is hard to capture properly with my (ancient) camera, but it
is just a beautiful shade of deep red. Looks great with the painted headstock and
black hardware. Here's some specs from Fender:
Boxer Series PJ Bass Specifications:
Neck
I loved the neck but found the side dots to be tiny, so I put on stick-on fret markers
which are easily removed if desired. Bass has the Gotoh tuners, TBX tone control, and rubber skirted knobs unique to this model - they really did a great job with these Boxers (AKA Jazz Bass Special).
As noted, this was a recent purchase for me, but much as I love having it around,
I overspent on another bass (that ever happen to any else?)
so the 1 in/1 out
rule comes into effect and Big Red becomes available for adoption. Bass has not
left my house since it arrived, so still in same great condition as when received.
Weight is a comfortable 8.5 lbs (8lbs 8.6 oz). I put flats on it right away, but I will
also include the DR Red Devils it had been wearing.
Asking what I paid, $695 shipped and Paypal'd to the lower 48. No trades, please.
