Details

A wonderful heavy relic'd jazz bass! A true representation of an actual Fender 1964 jazz bass. This has been my bass for recording studio work and it sounds and plays wonderfully. In great condition (heavy relic'd and has lived its life in the custom shop G & G hard case). The neck is "worn in" and feels like an old jazz bass should (like my '65 jazz bass).
I am not doing any studio work now so this must go.

This model is a 2008 and sounds amazing (did I mention that;). I have added a sound recording of the bass direct into a mixing board, with no effects, for a record I did for a jazz singer in 2019. Clean, clear and great tone!

Quartersawn maple neck feels great to hold and play. 7 1/4 " radius neck , 34 inch scale and lovely wear pattern checking on the body . Vintage frets are so easy to solo on. This bass has been cared for and professionally set up. A great relic job that always gets complements.

Comes with ash tray covers and certificate from the Custom Shop.

A recoding of the bass from 2019 June, Chet Baker tribute album. Autumn leaves and It could happen to you. Later tune has bass solo.

Beautiful! If didn't already own a vintage '62, I'd be all over this. Good deal!
