Modeled after Flea’s “Shell Pink” ‘61 Jazz Bass used on Chili Peppers’ Stadium Arcadium album, the Flea artist signature bass is part of Fender’s Road Worn series. Best part, the nitrocellulose lacquer neck and body will only get better with age!
This particular bass has been skillfully modded to sound even better with a custom bone nut and an upgraded bridge for increased sustain. The added thumb rest, Fender Vintage F Chrome Plate and Chome Covers makes it look more like a classic ‘61 (original parts are included).
The first year of this model had some neck stability issues, but everything on this 2019 is rock solid. Everything works as it should and the Fender Pure Vintage ’64 Jazz pickups and vintage accurate stacked concentric controls sound amazing and offers so many tonal options!
Overall, it’s in great shape with some of the best relicing I’ve ever seen on one of these! She has some small rub marks on some of the frets from the Labella flatwounds strings but the frets have tons of life left on them! Pretty light too at 8lb, 12 oz!
Nothing is needed on this bass! $1250 Paypal shipped CONUS!
