I hate to do this but I need to cover some recent gear costs so.....
Up for sale is my Fender Jazz Special. Made famous by Duff McKagan of Guns-N-Roses fame. This bass was made between 1984-1987 in Japan when the import models were of a higher quality than U.S. made Fenders. Black body with matching headstock (back of neck is not painted black), all black hardware. Strung with DR Black Beauties. This bass is in great condition for a 30 year old instrument. Minor nicks and dings on the body from use. Not abused. Nice low action and sounds incredible!!! This neck is one of my favorites of any bass ever. Very comfortable to play. Still has the original “F” topped knobs which are very hard to find. The original bridge has been replaced because the old one is corroded and missing much of its finish. I will include the original bridge in the sale. Will also throw in a gig bag and strap with Dunlop strap locks. If you aren’t familiar with this model, just do a Google search. Lots of info available and they have a pretty dedicated following here on Talkbass. Only selling to cover a debt so no lowball offers please. Asking $625 shipped or best offer.
