Details

This is a great light weight bass. I am only selling because I have a shoulder injury and need to switch to much lighter instruments from now on. It is around 8 lbs. The tuners have been changed to hipshot ultra lights. The pickguard has also been changed, but I have the original white pickguard. The pickup covers on these basses are white so it's original. There is some player wear, but nothing that affects playability. It is currently strung with chromes. It plays and sounds great! Comes in a gigbag.

$900 Buyer pays shipping. Paypal preferred.
EDIT: Original Tuners found! im going to include both for the same price.

Wow, that's a beauty and a great price. If my bonus check gets here before someone else snags this up I'll have to pull the trigger.

Is this a nitro finish?

There ya go! Excuse the hair tie. I use that to mute a bit for a bit more muted sound. I found that the tuners made a significant difference in weight and balance for the better.

Anybody lusting after a "Fullerton RI" PBass but not able to afford one should seriously consider buying this. This is a great price.

These US E Series Fenders are excellent. Slap a gold guard and black pickup covers on it, and you have what would look like a 57 RI at a glance.

That's what I would do, anyway.

IIRC it should be 1.75 at the nut. But.......I'd wait for confirmation from the seller on that.

It should also be very thin front to back.

To be honest, I noticed a slight difference from my other P necks at first, but after a couple of weeks I like the feel a lot. It's a great bass, and I don't really want to part with it, but due to the injury, I absolutely have to.

I'm not quite sure where they are at right this moment. I may have accidentally shipped them with another bass. I just Pm'd the guy. I don't see them anywhere around the house right now either. Hence the low price. These tuners are way lighter and balance better though. I don't know why anyone would want to go back to the other heavy ones unless they really want it to be that original. The ones on it now are top notch expensive, light tuners.

The other bass has been sold. I have not found the original tuners, but the ones on it now are light years better! Come on people! This is a STEAL!

This is a build quality on par with the Fullerton Re Issues. I know because I have owned one of these, and owned it concurrently with a Fullerton RI, that I still have. Only sold the P 'cuz.....it was a P and I was digging my RI Jazz (still do).

SO yeah, $900 is a great deal. I'd own one of these before a new American made P any day.

Okay ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna just throw in the original tuners free of charge. Tax returns are coming soon, so someone scoop this up! Certainly someone would love a Fender P THE most recorded bass in music history!
