EDIT: No Longer Available. I'm very sorry for my "wishy-washyness" regarding this bass; but I'm pulling the For Sale ad. I WANT to whittle down my bass collection. I often think, "Well, I don't play the fretless as much as the others", and put it up on the block. But then (as happened yesterday), I pick it up and start playing it and realize what a great, fun bass this is. So again, I apologize, but just can't bring myself to sell it...
Putting this beauty back up on the market. $450.00. I'm pretty sure the S/N dates this as a 1994. Unlined MIJ fretless Fender Jazz. I bought it used several years ago, but I think everything is original. I did upgrade the pots and knobs, but the originals are included. It definitely has some wear, but looks pretty good for 23 years old. A couple chips out of the paint on the upper body where your right forearm would be; but it's not anything I've ever felt while playing; nor is it visible while you're playing it. Includes the original white pickguard and the Fender Japan tort (which I think looks stunning!).
Local sale only. I live in Memphis. I do not have a case or a gig bag for it, so I do not want to ship it. If you live in Nashville, Jackson, MS, Little Rock, etc., I could meet you half way for a sale. The rosewood board is in excellent condition.
