Up for sale is a Fender Precision Bass Jr (28’ Scale) in Torino Red! Has some notable modifications, but all reversible and the bass itself is in fantastic shape. I even have the hang tags from when it came off the shelf!
Currently strung up with Labella Mini-P Flatwounds (specialty set for these mini basses), and I spent the time to fully shield and ground the bass.
Modifications:
- Squier Mini Precision Bass Pickguard (Earlpilanz Parchment Guard)
- Fender Precision Bass Replacement Knobs
- Mini Potentiometer Wiring (to fit the pickguard) — Did require a bit of routing to get everything to fit, but is not visible and was an inch of wood at most (Wood chisel)
- Original owner (I am second owner) had a Hipshot B Bass Bridge on there. Holes aren’t visible and I swapped it out for the original string-through bridge. If you want the hipshot, free of charge, just let me know!
Will also come with Quarter Pounder pickup (original owner used, but I replaced), and black P-Bass Jr Pickguard that was formerly on there (I do not have original).
