I think it was built in the 90's. MIJ. All original. I've owned it since 1999. Sounds, IMO, very good. Comes in Fender molded hard shell case. Active electronics and comes in at 7.2 lbs on my bathroom scale. Has tilt back but I've never used it.

Played quite a bit and it looks it. I won't try to describe all the imperfections but here are some:
- Gold hardware is losing it's goldness
- Finish is worn around headstock edges
- One knob missing the F
- Sticker from dealer on back of headstock
- Back of neck has dark area behind 2-3 frets (I think it was there when I got it)
- Jazz p/u is susceptible to single coil hum
- Numerous dings and scratches
- Case has scuffs and is missing a foot, but otherwise in good shape
