This was my first introduction to anything Fender, and I so fell in love with the Jazz bass sound, that I went out and bought a 24 fret Fender Jazz (I've been a 24 fret guy forever). Thus this bass is up for sale. It is in near mint condition. I've only played it on one church gig, and has been in my non smoking house since I bought it last year. Still has the protective plastic on pickups and pickguard. I added a little bling with the chrome knob plate, and am including the washers I had to remove to get it to fit.
This is a wonderful sounding instrument at the price. The cut of the neck is almost a perfect slab cut, (see pic) better than many made in USA Fenders I have played. Neck is really straight, and a pleasure to play. Includes the allen wrenches to adjust the truss rod and the bridge.
Will ship in an original box, only I'll do much better job packing than they did. Selling only to the continental US please. Shipping weight is 14lb. Box dimensions are 52 by 15 by 4 inches.
