Details

I bought this “As New” for a project, but decided to go with the AllParts neck, that I ordered at the same time. I never mounted it. This neck is TOP NOTCH! No issues, truss turns smoothly. Super smooth back of neck surface. Not as chunky as my 78 Jazz Basses... Feels more like the mid 80s, MIJ, Jazz Bass Specials or like the current, Geddy Lee Jazz Necks. Frets are 10 out of 10 condition. The tuning machine impressions look like the Squier Vintage Modified / Mexican Fender style with the rounded plate.

The collage photos were taken with natural light. The board has a lighter hue on the dot marker frets. No residue or anything odd. Just lighter/ showing more imitation wood grain. Neck is still perfect, in my opinion.

I used a neck like this for my first ever parts-bass build. The ebonol board is practically bulletproof! If one is looking for a Jazz-width at the nut, but a flat fretboard radius (12", in this case) this is the way to go. And yeah, the tuners should be interchangeable with MIM Standard tuners.
