Fernandes Precision Bass copy from the golden age of Japanese made Fender and Gibson copies. The model is PB-40 which you can see in the neck pocket. According to the experts in the Fernandes/Burny Facebook group, this bass is a 1989 made at the Fujigen factory. Black finish with a white pickguard. Solid alder body. Vintage tint maple neck with a maple fretboard. Fender style headstock and tuners. Vintage Fender style truss rod adjustment at the base of the neck. P-Bass style split coil pickup. Weighs 9.2lbs.
This bass has been played for sure but is in great shape overall. The most noteworthy flaws are a series of dings on the bottom of the body and from and a decent amount of buckle rash. There is also a blemish on the fretboard between the 2nd and 3rd frets that has been filled so you can't feel it while playing but it's still visible.
I'm a P-Bass player and this holds up against any similar price point P-Bass I've ever played. Everything is original to my knowledge. Neck is straight, action is between 2.0-2.5mm at the 12th fret, frets are in great condition, and there's very little buzzing. A couple of the pictures show the bass without knobs but I have the original knobs.
