!!! Full disclosure, the serial number of this bass has had the last few numbers scratched off for some reason, I don't know why, but I'm trying to find out. I have been told that this is not something Warwick specifically does. !!!
Just picked this up recently in a trade. Need the money more however. Very awesome bass. The pics below are from the previous owners thread.

"These basses, being the Rockbass Artist Series (about 5 steps up from the entry level Rockbass) we’re $4k basses.
You may be asking, what is a B-stock bass?
While I cannot speak for other companies, I know Warwick well. They don’t sell B-Stock basses that are damaged or unplayable. Their B-Stock is for one of two reasons: 1) because it wasn’t an A+ as it went through QC and those basses ONLY have finish issues. So, a scratch that can’t be buffed out, or a weird grain of wood in the neck, fretboard or headstock, a logo that’s slightly off center, an uneven finish coat, etc... Or 2) because the model was discontinued and unsold stock gets labeled B-Stock (serial removed and stamped), and is typically sold to their dealers (of which, I am not) or gets destroyed.
This one is a discontinued model B-Stock which was used as a demo on the showroom floor. That said, this bass is perfect. You can see in the pictures, this bass has been so moderately and gently used it looks basically new. It’s really beautiful. Frets are in great shape, no scratches of note, nothing.

Neck - Solid Ovangkol w/ Ekanga
Fretboard - Tigerstripe Ebony
Body - Alder
Weight - 10lbs
Spacing - 18.5mm to 19mm adjustable
Pickups - Active Seymour Duncan Soapbars
