Here is like new Mesa WD-800 for sale. I bought it earlier this spring, with the intent to replace lugging around a much larger amp, but I found that I'm just not playing it enough to justify keeping it. As the gear market seems to be going crazy right now, during these crazy times, I thought I'd pass some savings onto everyone, and offer a good package for less than new.
As stated earlier, this amp is in like new condition, and functions PERFECTLY!
I used to own a Walkabout 12" combo, and I really wanted something that did what that combo did on steroids! It has the Walkabout sound in it when you set the dampening switch to emulate the slower response of the older units, and it also can be really fast too! The EQ on the amp is also really easy to find a good tone, then you can get pretty surgical if you need to make any corrections after setting your initial sound up.
I'd be happy to discuss the sound of this amp with anyone, if you care to know more about it. I used this through a Greenboy F112 cab, so I feel pretty confident that I can give the honest opinion of it. That cab is about as neutral as it gets, and every amp that I put through it really shows how different it is when tested through it.
I'm including a Mesa footswitch, the Mesa TRS connector cable, and a Lava Cables ELC 20 foot instrument cable as well to sweeten things up a bit! This is a great cable, and the ELC cable with the tweed wrap, received one of the highest recommendations, if you follow Ovni Labs at all (Audio Cables Compared and Recommended). T
his will also ship with the soft case, all of the included tags that come with the amp when you buy it new, and shipped in the original packaging. It will basically be you buying a new amp with a few extras for quite a bit under a new amp's price! These amps are also currently unavailable, as demand is higher than Mesa's ability to produce them at this time.
The only trades I would consider would be Glockenklang class D heads, otherwise, this is strictly for sale only. Shipping is included in the price.
