Every conceivable parameter is adjustable, so you can tailor your tone to meet your exact tonal needs.
It’s also an incredibly useful price of gear for live shows. You can program “scenes” that incorporate multiple effect at once so you can avoid having to tap dance in order to switch multiple effects. The scenes can also be programmed to incorporate your amp’s channel-switching relay to toggle between clean and dirty channels with independent effects assigned to each. These are just some of the functions available with the FX8, but my descriptions barely scratch the surface. This is truly a top-notch piece of gear in excellent condition. I'm only parting with this awesome piece of gear because I seldom use effects any more. I'm basically just down to a compressor and a preamp with a bit of dirt. For partial trade interests, I suppose I could use a sub-octave (here's looking at you DOD Meatbox!) or a synth pedal.
