on ebay in a few hours.
Up for sale is a 1972 Fender Precision Bass. The neck is dated 1972 and has had a pro refret (was done prior to me owning the bass). The neck is straight as an arrow with working truss rod. Replaced pots, replaced the original output jack with a brand new genuine Fender/Switchcraft jack. Capasitor replaced with an orange drop. Long G screw bridge. Original pickguard (chipped at the input jack). The pickguard is a bit warped but there are methods to straighten it out (look here on TB). Neck pocket does not have any markings...if anyone can help explain this please let me know. Serial number is 362173 which dates to 1972. Pickups are original with strong output. The original pots date to 1972 are included and in the case, however I don't believe they are in working order. All original parts included. Weight of the bass is about 9 lbs.
Original case "not" included. Since I don't have a box large enough for
shipping I've decided to sell this bass "without" the case.
I can take the neck off and ship without the case for $1,600.
