Price Drop and/or Trades

This is a American Deluxe Jazz with the figured Maple top.
It is in MINT condition. Original G&G case and all of the original case candy.
This was their top of the line FMT model in 2002
It features an alder body with the figured maple top finished in their amber tone.
Maple neck with a bound pao ferro fingerboard with MOP block inlays. (Beautiful figure and color in the fingerboard!)
18v preamp with Noiseless Pickups
Vol, Bass/Treble stacked cut boost, Mid cut boost, pan pot
Gold Hardware

This is a killer bass!
Some of the pictures were taken with the strings off while I was oiling the fingerboard.
Asking $1375 paypal Shipped in the cont. U.S.

Price dropped to $1325 shipped in the US. Will ship international for additional cost of shipping.
Also considering trades. Preferably something older, J or P bass or even guitars... older LP, strat or tele.

Flash glare on the forearm contour...this is not a blemish just bad photography!

They did a nice job with the quilted top following the forearm contour.

Wow absolutely gorgeous. One of my ideal Jazz basses.

There is another FMT V that was/is up for sale at a much higher price and it doesn't look anywhere near as nice as this one.

I was trying to deal on that one...ended up with an '09 CS V that isn't this nice. This is worth every penny of the asking price. Sure you're not gonna kick yourself later?

How is this still here at that price? The weight? 10lbs ain't s*** when it's got a quilt like that! I wish I could buy this.

+1.......People get hung up on weight. First off, your right 10.2 is not bad for this bass. Second, I've played light weight instruments that just don't sit or fit well. That's a bigger issue than the scale weight of a bass to me. As long as it's not an anvil with strings;)

A free bump for a great comment. Balance is more important than weight. If you get a body that's too light, you get the old "neck dive". I had one of these that weighed more than this one and it felt great. It had one of the best B strings around. I'm sure this one is also.
