Up for sale is a great 2003 Skyline DJ loaded with the original Aeros. I believe 2003 was the SkyDJ's first year.. hard to come by. I personally prefer the Aero pickups to the current Lakland/Hanson pickups. This bass is a beast and sounds amazing. These basses are no longer being produced.
Pearl White Ash Body
Maple Board with Pearloid Blocks and white binding
Matching headstock
Passive v/v/t w/ Aeros
Original w/b/w pickguard and custom Jeannie's with pearloid
Few things of note:
There's a visually noticeable scratch on the side of the neck, treble side near the neck pocket. I can barely feel it when looking for it and never notice it while playing.
There's a little bit of belt rash on the back, but it's not too bad.
The soldering on the inside wasn't very well done, but I had it all redone by my local tech who also gave the insides a nice cleaning.
MrMatt had the bass plekked recently and WOW, does it play really nicely with low, low action!
This bass is almost ten years old and well taken care of. It's been well cared for and has been brought up-to-date with the plekking and re-soldering. I don't have a good case for it, but it will ship in the shell of what was once a Warwick RockBag and it will be packed/insured very carefully.
I'm looking for $1025 plus shipping to the "lower 48" via paypal e-check.
