Not sure I want to sell this but I have my eye on another bass which would require me to sell something. That said, I'm NOT interested in any trades.
Very unique, I think a one of a kind Sadowsky.
This one sounds like a a Stingray---has a Music-Man pickup.
Also, the lightest Sadowsky I know of....only 7 lbs.
Comes with Sadowsky ultra-light case.
$2950

I'm the 2nd owner of this bass.
There is no model for this bass, it's one of a kind.
It was made in NYC by Roger about 4 or 5 years ago for another TB'r and for special personal reasons.

very cool. how would you describe the tone of this bass compared to a J or P?
I'm not familiar with that pickup config. is it like a humbucking J configuration?

I think it sounds more like a EBMM Stingray, has the same pickup & also a switch for series or parallel. One way is big & full the other really mid-focus & cuts through nice.

That's a Seymour Duncan Basslines p-up with Sadowsky 9 volt pre-amp with V, T, B, VTC, and SP switch? Any current pics available other than the Sadowsky Gallery shot? Also, can you post the link to the gallery page so we can get more information?

I think u got the pre, knobs & switch's correct. However, the pickup that's in it now is the Nordstand MM4-2
Humbucking (dual coil) 4 string Music Man®-type bass pickups
This pickup is an accurate reproduction of an early pre-Ernie Ball® Music Man® pickup. It uses the same wire, the same magnets, and has the same DC resistance. As a result, it sounds just like the early Music Man® basses that are so widely coveted.

I have the Basslines pup as well.

Been eyeing this one closely with GAS pains since day 1 and trying to scrape pennies together.

Were the holes drilled in the body for the "off set" ash tray cover? (looks like it, and can't help but say "ouch!")

I'm guessing the miscellaneous white-ish marks on body between pickup and neck are merely reflections?

More pictures would be welcome.

Also, I second the request for link to Sadowsky gallery for further build info.

Here's some more pix for everyone that's been asking. Sorry it's taken me 2 weeks to get these up here but things were hectic over the holidays.
Several have asked for the link to the Sadowsky website info, however I don't believe there is one for this bass - probably due to the fact this was a one of a kind special build Roger did for the guy I bought it from.

It's the lightest Sadowsky I've ever seen so I would think it is chambered. I asked the guy I bought it from, who was the original owner & he thought the same thing
